With this product, Hénaff is going back to its roots when its Audierne plant also produced sardines.
A tin celebrating times gone by
People may be surprised to know that, before specialising in delicatessen meats, Hénaff originally produced vegetables and even peaches in syrup. In those days, the company also produced tinned sardines. While Hénaff no longer sells vegetables, the company does still sell sardines. The sardines presented in this reissue of the original tin are still just as tasty. Reissuing this tin is also a nod to the company’s Breton roots.
For all the family, all year round
At dinner, on a tasty slice of rye or country bread, add a splash of olive oil and a few arugula leaves. This simple, tasty recipe will delight the whole family, in summer and winter.
