Intangible quality. Few products can pride themselves on not having changed their recipe one iota in a century, but Pâté Hénaff is just such a product. Since its creation in 1915 by Jean Hénaff, it has always brought together the best cuts of pork – fillets and hams – to offer gourmets more flavor and less fat. What’s more, to ensure that our Pâté Hénaff matures properly and develops all its flavors, we keep it in our reserves for a minimum of 6 weeks before shipping.
Local industry. There’s no need to look far and wide for the difference between the star of pâtés and all the other pâtés in the world: everything in Pâté Hénaff is local. The fresh meat comes from pigs bred less than 150km from Pouldreuzic, the tins are made and printed in Douarnenez since 1919, and the salt comes from Guérande! So, apart from the spices, we’re 100% local!
Responsible supply chain. We’ve chosen to do better by going from 60 conventional breeders to a dozen, with whom we’ve decided to forge a close relationship by sharing a common vision and values. For more details, see our commitment page.
